Registration Deadline: Early Registration discount of $50 for Squirt level and up, as well as the Family Maximum of $800, are available thru September 15th. For families registering multiple skaters that will exceed the Family Maximum Player Fees (does not apply to Volunteer, Fundraising, or equipment deposits), please contact the SCMYHA Registrar for a discount code. After September 15th, Early Registration and Family Max discounts will be unavailable.
Player Move-Ups: Players must register and pay the fees at the age level they currently qualify for regardless of the possibility of move-up.
High School Players: Sauk Centre & Melrose HS Players are required to register with SCM Youth Hockey for fundraising & volunteer requirement purposes only; see the 2023-24 Registration Fees for further details.
Equipment: Equipment for Mighty Mites and Mites can be checked out on Saturday, September 16th, from 1:00PM- 4:00PM he Sauk Centre Outdoor Rink. If you are unable to make this date, contact the Equipment Manager to make other arrangements. Players checking out equipment must agree to the equipment agreement during registration and all the terms of the deferred payment.
Family Fee Discounts: The Sauk Centre-Melrose Youth Hockey Association will waive the family fee for those association members who volunteer for certain positions within the association. If you are interested in volunteering refer to the committee services for further information and compensation details.
Financial Aid Program: The deadline to apply for financial aid is September 1st. No financial aid applications will be accepted after September 1st. If you applied & qualify before September 1st a discount code will be generated for you waiving the registration hockey fees. Registration must be completed by September 12th or the discount code will become invalid and the financial aid will no longer be available. This is a one-time aid program for families & will not be honored beyond one hockey season.
